Verification

Address Verification.

DigiAddress supports address verification by allowing users to claim a registered digital address and link verified occupants to that address through an approved process.

Why address verification matters

Address verification is important for banking, utilities, government services, emergency response, customer onboarding and official records. In many places, addresses are described informally, making it difficult to confirm where a person lives or where a building is located.

DigiAddress creates a structured digital address for a building, house, plot or addressable place. The verification process then allows eligible occupants to be linked to that registered address.

How users can claim an address

  • Use Find My Address to check whether the building already has a DigiAddress.
  • If the address exists, visit a DigiAddress office to begin the claim process.
  • Provide the required identification and proof of occupancy.
  • Authorized DigiAddress staff verify the request.
  • Permanent occupants are linked to the registered digital address.

Who can be linked?

Occupants who live or operate at the building on a permanent or long-term basis can be linked to the address. This may include owners, landlords, tenants, businesses or approved institutional occupants.

Temporary visitors or short-term occupants should not be linked as permanent address holders.

Privacy and access

The digital address code itself does not publicly display personal names. Occupant information linked to a digital address should only be made available to authorized organizations for approved verification purposes.

This helps support verification while protecting personal information from public exposure.
